Dear Parents and Carers
What a beautiful week it’s been with all the sunshine.
It’s certainly been a busy one with the Yr3/4 children having a really fabulous day out at Pear Tree Farm. Toasting marshmallows over a camp fire seemed to have been the favourite activity!
Our Year 2 children have worked their socks off this week as they started the Year 2 statutory assessments. They’ve been brilliant and should be really proud of themselves.
And finally our Year 6 children…….. who have been incredible this week. They have tackled their SATs with focus and enthusiasm. It has been a celebration of all their hard work this year and they have all been keen to show what they can do. I think the children have been calmer than the teachers and this has shown how confident they are! I am so proud of them all! I would also like to thank the staff team for their determined approach to prepare the children so well, not only for SATs, but for the transition to secondary school and beyond. And thank you for supporting the children through this challenge.
I hope everyone has a restful weekend.
