Happy Half Term!
It has been a long half term with bugs, colds & flu but we got there! We have some exciting things in the diary for next half term. In Week 1 alone we have a visiting Farm which we are sharing with Hob Moor Primary KS1. This will be on Tuesday 5th March – look out for the letter on Parent Pay.
On Thursday 7th March its our Federation World Book Day – you’ll have received the World Book Day dress up themes, we can’t wait to see your creativity! On Friday 8th March school is closed to children for our Professional Development Day – all staff will be refreshing their knowledge of Moving & Handling whilst our Midday Supervisors will be refreshing their skills & knowledge on feeding (led by Catherine Martin SALT).
For Year 6 parents, I will be at Applefields hosting a little Y6 parents Cafe Club from 10am on Tuesday 5th March.
A sneak peek for Week 2 includes our Science Week & Red Nose Day.
Thank you to the 34 parents that have completed the online parent survey – if you haven’t already done so, it would be great to hear your feedback (click on the link inserted into the text message).
I hope you all have a wonderful week spending time with family and friends. Thank you to all our dedicated staff – enjoy the well deserved break!
