Our school community has been filled with a range of emotions this week! As we say goodbye to our Y6 and staff leavers we also wish our learners good luck as they move into their new class groups in September. We are all filled with pride & happiness but sadness as we say goodbye to an amazing group of 23 Y6!
The school year has had many wonderful moments including magical moments, progress, friendships, external visitors saying wonderful comments about HMO, Governors celebrating our successes and the beginning of our Special Schools Partnership with Applefields. We have experienced great challenges and sadness over the academic year including bereavements, leadership changes and pupils leaving HMO. We wish all our leavers, staff and pupils luck and courage as they start their new chapters.
Now for the soppy bit… As you all know Hob Moor Oaks holds a special place in my heart, I feel we are finishing the year on a high. I am immensely proud of our 110 children, each and everyday they remind us all how inspirational they are and constantly challenge us to go above and beyond. To the dedicated and passionate staff, the smiles, laughter and humility—thank you for always giving 110%!
Thank you to all of our parents, families and carers, without your support we couldn’t do the job we do! I wish you all a wonderful summer holiday. See you all in September (including the Applefields gang—I’ll be over on the 4th Sept ). Olivia
